Our Approach
TRUSTTICA responds to valid legal requests from government and law-enforcement authorities consistent with applicable law. We do not disclose user information beyond what a valid legal process requires.
Request Requirements
Requests for user information generally must:
- be made through appropriate legal process (e.g. subpoena, court order, warrant, or as otherwise required by law)
- identify the specific account or information sought
- be issued by an authority with jurisdiction to make the request
- be submitted through the channel below on official letterhead or an official government email domain
Emergency Requests
Where an authority believes there is an emergency involving imminent risk of death or serious physical injury, it may submit an emergency disclosure request describing the nature of the emergency. TRUSTTICA evaluates such requests on their merits and consistent with applicable law; submission of a request does not guarantee disclosure.
Preservation Requests
Authorities may request that TRUSTTICA preserve existing records pending receipt of formal legal process, consistent with applicable law and TRUSTTICA's own data retention practices.
Notice to Users
Where legally permitted, TRUSTTICA provides notice to the affected user before disclosing their information, unless prohibited by law (e.g. a valid non-disclosure order) or in exigent circumstances.
Submission Channel
Law-enforcement and government requests should be submitted to support@trusttica.com with the subject line "Law Enforcement Request." TRUSTTICA does not currently operate a separate self-service portal for authenticating law-enforcement submissions.
