Terms of Service

Rules, responsibilities, and conditions for using TRUSTTICA.

Last updated: January 1, 2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the TRUSTTICA platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use TRUSTTICA. These Terms apply to all users, including individuals, businesses, event organizers, law enforcement agencies, and any other account type available on the platform. Use of TRUSTTICA constitutes your acceptance of the most current version of these Terms.

2. Overview of the Service

TRUSTTICA provides a two-stage trust and safety platform including: identity verification and KYC review, real-time presence confirmation, trust token generation, Evidence Vault recordkeeping, and controlled invitation and access workflows for individuals, businesses, events, and law enforcement agencies. The platform is designed to reduce uncertainty before real-world interactions by verifying who a person is and confirming their physical presence when it matters.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

To use TRUSTTICA, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You must provide accurate, complete, and truthful information when creating and maintaining your account.
  • You must meet any age or eligibility requirements applicable to your account type and jurisdiction.
  • Role-based access may apply — different account types (individual, business, event organizer, law enforcement) have different capabilities and responsibilities.
  • Organizations are responsible for the actions of all authorized users operating under their account.
  • Freelancers and independent users follow individual account rules and are personally responsible for the accuracy of their profile and verification data.

4. Identity Verification Responsibilities

Users required to complete identity verification must submit accurate and genuine identity information. You must not misrepresent your identity, submit falsified documents, use another person's information, or otherwise attempt to deceive or bypass the verification process. Misrepresentation of identity is a serious violation of these Terms and may result in immediate account suspension, legal action, or referral to the appropriate authorities.

5. Presence Verification Responsibilities

Presence confirmation workflows are designed to confirm that a verified individual is genuinely present at a specified location and time. You must not use presence confirmation fraudulently — including by attempting to spoof location, delegate confirmation to another person, or generate false presence records. All presence confirmation events must reflect real-world truth. Fraudulent presence confirmation is a material violation of these Terms.

6. Organization-Controlled Workflows

Businesses, event organizers, and agencies may initiate controlled invitation and presence-confirmation workflows for their authorized users, clients, attendees, or subjects. Organizations using these workflows are responsible for ensuring that all invitations, verification requests, and presence confirmations initiated through their account comply with applicable law and with these Terms. TRUSTTICA is not responsible for the content or accuracy of organization-initiated workflows.

7. Controlled Event and Appointment Use

Access to controlled events, appointments, or locations managed through TRUSTTICA may depend on the completion of an invitation acceptance, identity confirmation, and real-time presence confirmation at the point of entry. Event organizers set the verification requirements for their events. TRUSTTICA provides the platform infrastructure but does not control individual event access policies. Attendees must meet the organizer's verification requirements to gain entry.

8. Evidence Vault and Recordkeeping

Certain platform actions — including completed verifications, trust token generation events, and presence confirmation records — may be automatically stored in the Evidence Vault. These records serve purposes of trust, safety, accountability, and compliance. Vault records may be accessed by authorized users within a workflow, by TRUSTTICA for operational and compliance purposes, and, where legally required, by law enforcement or judicial authorities. You acknowledge that vault records may persist beyond account closure where required by law.

9. Prohibited Conduct

The following conduct is strictly prohibited on the TRUSTTICA platform:

  • Impersonating another person or submitting false identity information
  • Attempting to bypass, circumvent, or manipulate any verification process
  • Fraudulent use of presence confirmation, including location spoofing or delegation
  • Unauthorized access to another user's account, data, or vault records
  • Misuse of trust tokens, including falsification or unauthorized transfer
  • Using the platform to facilitate harmful, illegal, or fraudulent real-world activity
  • Reverse engineering, scraping, or interfering with platform infrastructure
  • Any conduct that violates applicable law, regulation, or court order

10. Fees and Plans

Certain TRUSTTICA features and capabilities are available only on paid plans. Free tier access is subject to usage limits and feature restrictions as described in our Pricing page. Paid plan pricing, billing cycles, and feature entitlements are described at the time of subscription. TRUSTTICA reserves the right to change plan pricing and features with reasonable notice. Failure to maintain a valid subscription may result in reduced access or suspension of plan-level features.

11. Suspension and Termination

TRUSTTICA reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate any account at any time for violations of these Terms, suspected fraud, misrepresentation of identity, unauthorized use, or any activity that poses a risk to the safety, security, or integrity of the platform or its users. Where possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remediate. In cases of serious violations — including fraud, impersonation, or illegal activity — we may act immediately and without prior notice.

12. Disclaimers

TRUSTTICA is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose of the platform or its verification outcomes. Identity verification and presence confirmation are tools to assist in real-world trust decisions, but they do not constitute a guarantee of any individual's character, fitness, or behavior. Users rely on verification outcomes at their own discretion and risk.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TRUSTTICA and its affiliates, officers, employees, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform, including but not limited to damages arising from verification outcomes, presence confirmation results, or reliance on trust token records. Our total liability in connection with any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred dollars (USD $100), whichever is greater.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users via the platform or by email. Your continued use of TRUSTTICA after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the platform.

15. Contact Information
